CRM 2013 introduces a new “quick view” control which allows you to add some “cards” from related entities to display relevant data. It’s a neat little control which lets us avoid creating duplicate fields and using web services / mapping to populate “account” data on “contact” records, for example.
You can choose the quick view card, and what shows up in it – it’s a different form in the system, called the “quick view” form, and is available for every entity. You can add quick view forms as another control on any form, and as long as there is a N:1 relationship available, you can display the related record’s data.
